Founded in 1995 by the German Parking Association (Bundesverband Parken e.V.), it has since become the central meeting place for professionals shaping the future of parking and for anyone interested in the parking industry and urban mobility issues.
At PARKEN, a two-day event held every two years in Wiesbaden, operators of parking garages, underground parking facilities, and managed surface parking lots, service providers, system suppliers, startups, and other specialists and executives in the parking industry come together to learn about and exchange ideas on trends, technologies, and concepts for stationary traffic management. A particular highlight on the first day of the fair is the conference of the German Parking Association (Bundesverband Parken e.V.), where experts from various sectors present on current topics related to parking management and urban mobility, as well as economic and socio-political issues.
