The 16th Mediterranean Congress of Chemical Engineering (MeCCE) will be held from June 2 to June 5, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain, as part of EXPOQUIMIA, the International Chemistry Event and Process Industries. Under the theme "Transforming the Industry, Shaping the Future," this edition will explore the evolving role of chemical engineering in addressing critical global challenges. Moreover, it is a great opportunity to implement the entire 2030 Agenda from science to industry through engineering and its power of transfer. The great differential value of this congress is that it unites science and engineering with industry, being a unique bridge for the scientific and business communities to come together in an incomparable setting. We make this possible with a program that fosters interaction between the academic community and the different industrial sectors that make up or serve the chemical and process industries ecosystem.
