Union Portuaria del Pacifico S.E.M. (UPdP), a mixed-economy company formed by the Comision Ejecutiva Portuaria Autonoma (CEPA) and YILPORT Holding Inc., is pleased to announce that it will host LATAM PORTS & LOGISTiCS 2028, an international Exhibition and Conference to be held in San Salvador, EL Salvador, from 25 to 27 April 2028. As the operator of the maritime terminals at the Ports of Acajutla and La Union, UPdP is proud to welcome this important event to El Salvador at a time of significant transformation and investment in the country's port and logistics sector. The event will provide an excellent platform to strengthen regional connectivity, promote international trade, encourage foreign direct investment, and highlight the growing role of E Salvador as a competitive logistics hub for Latin America. LATAM PORTS & LOGISTICS 2028 will bring together senior decision-makers and industry leaders from across the maritime, port, transportation and logistics sectors. The programme is expected to include representatives from shipping lines, cargo owners, freight forwarders, logistics companies, road and rail transport operators, port authorities, investors, consultants, port equipment manufacturers and technology providers from across the region and international markets. The conference programme will address key developments and emerging priorities affecting the port and logistics industry, including infrastructure development, operational efficiency, sustainability, digitalisation, technology.regional connectivity and new opportunities for international trade. A concurrent exhibition will provide companies with a valuable opportunity to present their solutions, equipment, technologies and services to a specialised international audience.
