The International Seaweed Association (ISA) is an international organisation dedicated to the encouragement of research and development of seaweed and seaweed products. The mission of the ISA is to promote applied phycology on a global basis, and to stimulate interactions among researchers, industrialists and government representatives in all relevant institutions, organizations and industries and in all countries. The City of Victoria, Ocean Networks Canada, Cascadia Seaweed and other Partners will be hosting the 25th International Seaweed Symposium May 4 - 9, 2025 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
