Indonesia's aviation industry is experiencing rapid expansion, cementing its status as the largest market in Southeast Asia. In December 2024, Indonesia's aviation capacity has reached 11.2 million seats, accounting for 27% of the total market in the region. This growth presents immense opportunities for airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and service providers looking to tap into a market with substantial unmet demand. Indonesia will need at least 1,000 new aircraft over the next 20 years, driven by its rapidly growing aviation market and annual passenger traffic growth of 7.4%, more than double the global average.
