| The Immunology of Diabetes Society (IDS) is an international scientific community dedicated to advancing the understanding, prevention and treatment of type 1 diabetes (T1D). Since 1995, the IDS convenes a biennial Congress, rotating among major centres in Europe, North America, and Asia/Oceania with up to 500 attendees.
The strength of the IDS lies in our global, multi-disciplinary and cooperative vision of addressing the greatest challenges in type 1 diabetes. The biennial IDS Congress meetings are pivotal incubators for seminal discoveries, trial networks, and have fostered a vibrant community of global leaders with the mission to improve the lives of individuals at risk for and with type 1 diabetes.
