The First International Symposium on Apricot and Plum will be organised in Avignon, France, from 22 to 25 April 2024 in the prestigious Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes). We are delighted to invite you to the First International Apricot and Plum Symposium, held under the high patronage of INRAE and the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) in Avignon, France. This symposium incorporates two symposia under the aegis of ISHS Division Temperate Tree Fruits and ISHS Working Groups "Apricot Breeding and Culture" and "Plum": XVIII International Symposium on Apricot Breeding and Culture ; XIII International Symposium on Plum and Prune Genetics, Breeding and Pomology. This symposium on the genetics, breeding and cultivation of apricot and plum is dedicated to the entire scientific research and development community and the private sector working on these two Prunus. This joint edition follows on the 17th edition for the apricot tree and 12th edition for the plum tree with the specific ambitious objective to increase the value of the event by enhancing interconnections between the 2 communities.
