The Indonesian International Conference on Ship and Offshore Technology and more popularly known as ICSOT Indonesia is a biennial conference and jointly organized by Indonesian universities and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA). The Conference was initiated at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS, Surabaya) in 2010. The next 7th ICSOT will be held at Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya (PPNS) Surabaya - East Java, carrying the theme of "Enhancing the Sustainable Use of Ocean-Based Resources trough Innovation on Maritime Technology". The purpose of the ICSOT 2021 is to invite practitioners, researchers, and academics from many countries to discuss and exchange their current research finding in maritime technology and other related fields. Hence, this conference is expected to increase understanding about the problems and challenges in ensuring the sustainable use of ocean-based resources. It is also expected that the conference will be followed by the increased number of collaborations at both national and international levels, on potential research related to maritime technology and other related sectors.
