CellMAT is a biennial conference where scientists from materials science, physics, chemistry, and process engineering exchange the latest research results on cellular materials. CellMAT gains its special significance through its unique inclusion of all material classes from metallic and ceramic materials to polymers and composite materials. The conference thus includes different aspects of a fascinating class of materials and is an exceptional cross-disciplinary and inspiring discussion forum for industry and academia. Over the years cellular materials have found their way into numerous applications as functional and construction materials, ranging from tasks in energy and thermal management to biomedical applications and catalytic conversion, just to name a few. CellMAT will therefore place a particular focus on application-relevant work. In addition, fundamental aspects of cellular materials will, of course, be considered again. International experts will give keynote/invited lectures about applications in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy conversion, mechanical engineering, chemical systems, and environmental purposes. The three-day conference comes up as a discussion panel for researchers, manufacturers, and users of cellular materials. During the conference, the best three posters will be honored.
