| On behalf of the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and our co-organizer, the Consejo Colombiano de Seguridad (CCS), I am pleased to invite you to attend and participate in the 10th CCPS Latin American Conference on Process Safety (LACPS) in Cartagena, Colombia. It will be good to return to this beautiful city and share best practices and lessons learned with our Latin American colleagues and those attending from other parts of the world.
This conference is part of the family of global CCPS Conferences on Process Safety and an important part of the eort of CCPS to prevent process safety incidents globally. CCPS's vision is "A World without Process Safety Incidents," This conference is a key focus toward this goal. Each year, more than 3,000 people attend these conferences.
