ABTCP - the Brazilian Technical Association of Pulp and Paper - is pleased to invite the pulp and paper sector, as well as universities, to submit proposals for papers for its 58th International Pulp and Paper Congress and Exhibition, which will be held in the city of Sao Paulo in October. Scientific and technological advances and innovations are the foundation for the evolution of the bioeconomy. The theme addresses the development of solutions, such as biotechnology applied to the development of the forest base, adapting genetic materials in the face of climate change for greater productivity and resilience and greater efficiency in the manufacturing process; with the evolution of emerging technologies in biorefineries and biopolymers such as micro/nanofibers and lignin, and in strategies that valorize forest and industrial waste and promote a circular, low-carbon, clean and value-added bioeconomy, revealing opportunities for a more sustainable, efficient and competitive future.
