East & Central Africa Energy (ECA Energy) is designed to support the needs of the energy developments in the region. There's a focus on connectivity across the East & Central African region, keeping in mind the Power Africa Strategy initiatives. By bringing global energy manufacturers together, ECA Energy will unlock new energy solutions in power generation, transmission, distribution, storage and energy consumption management. In line with the Africa Clean Energy Corridor (ACEC), the event will support diversification of renewable energy technologies which include solar power, biothermal energy, wind energy and hydropower. In doing so this would encourage free flow of investments and technology development in the region which will support the future opportunities in the energy sector.
