For many years, the Stuttgart International Symposium on Automotive and Engine Technology has been one of the largest specialist congresses automotive and powertrain development in Europe and one of the most important industry meetings in the automotive industry. As the symposium traditionally held in March had to take place digitally due to the pandemic situation of the past years, in 2023 it was held in July for the first time. Finally, it was possible again to bring together experts and executives from industry and research and to present the latest developments and research results. The two-day 23rd Stuttgart International Symposium featured more than 90 scientific presentations (one third of these are SAE peer reviewed) and discussions, exciting keynotes from automotive industry executives, four Poster Sessions, a Business Speed Dating and a panel discussion with top-class participants. There was plenty of chance for networking throughout the conference and during the evening event above the rooftops of Stuttgart.
